I love romance but I also like when it’s well written in history time piece.

Christian is very handsome and miserable after being forced into marriage, one he didn’t want. I wouldn’t want an arranged marriage either. He is now a Duke and heads to London where he runs into Katherine who is a duchess.

Christian fell in love with Katherine a long time ago but with an arranged marriage, they couldn’t get married. He has tried to forget about her for years and here she is in London with Christian’s enemy!

Katherine meets with the Viscount of DeWynter and she thinks he has clues to where her step mother is, her step mother just up and disappeared and she does not know why. Katherine befriends the Viscount to find a lead in finding her step mother.

She did not plan on Christian arriving in London and now she is torn between two men. How can you be torn between 2 men?! Her heart has been with Christian all this time and she is torn between 2 men!?

So how will Katherine find her step mother with a Viscount and a Duke?

Who will she choose?

Will she find her stepmother?

I recommend this book if you like historical romances and it’s a great read too.

5 Stars!! I loved this book.

I started this book not having a clue what it was about. I was glad I kept reading and fell in love with Katherine when I first met her! Witty, strong willed and independent woman is my kind of girl!

She takes on the world or at least the town and goes into a business venture with a man she just met. A huge risk to take but she does like him, a little.

Katherine hides what really happens in her life and why she stays away from family. Her home life growing up was not good and she dated an older man, much older!

Katherine is strong and will not back down but Holst holds on tight to her line. He likes her but also wants her to open up about her family and her life. He wants her to feel happy and safe again and know that he will be by her side.

Friends are helpful when she needs them and they are a great support system. They do things behind eachothers back but for good reasons too! Frodo is a great friend to Katherine and helps her see things in a different light.

Will Holst and Katherine risk what they have or fall apart? Get this book and you will not be disappointed!!!
