At age 19, John Colucci was found not guilty of murder by reason of insanity and committed to a mental institution. Eight years later, he’s released to begin a new life. Someone wants to make sure he never gets the chance to live it. John's list of enemies is vast. Even his own brother-in-law is determined to see him re-institutionalized. As John struggles to navigate his independence, he finds reasons to live.
