Christmas Eve Shenanigans

I am struggling mentally today, like really bad! I am trying to stay positive and my aunt and uncle stopped by with gifts so talking to them helped.

The phot above is what I made yesterday morning. It’s cold tuna pasta salad. I took a photo of the pasta and veggies before adding Mayo and tuna fish. Sadly I didn’t have cucumber in the house but it’s still good 😊

You can add any veggie you want and you can use any dressing you like too. I have used Italian dressing before, you can use Ranch dressing or any dressing.

Here are the rest of the photos; 

Let it sit in the fridge for about 8 hours and it’s ready to go. Best time to make it is at night. Cut up veggies and cook pasta before hand, let pasta cool then add the veggies, Mayo/dressing and mix. Let it sit to let flavor soak in.

I think I will make this again this week.

Also I bought beef at the grocery store today so I will be making different meals this week and into next week.

There will be no post tomorrow, it’s Christmas and it’s a day off from social media. I will update on Saturday or next week.

5 Star Read!!!!

This book came to me at a time when I read some really bad erotic stories that didn't appeal to me. I am thankful that I was asked to review this book and here is my review.

This was action packed with love, murder and survival.

You meet Laurie who is stubborn like me and who will do anything to help out. She goes into witness protection for seeing two people in a hotel room with a murderer. Then you get to meet Dante who is super gorgeous! He comes in to get Laurie but things go wrong.

They fight for their lives and now are on the run because there is a mole. I hate the mole in the US marshal service. Someone is feeding intel on Laurie's whereabouts to the murderer!

You think you know who it is but you will be shocked when you find out!

I don't want to spoil the rest for you but I can tell you, you will not be disappointed when you read this book. I recommend you get this and read it, is action packed and you will fall in love with Laurie and Dante!

I'm speechless, very speechless. A book has never done that to me before and this book does it.

This is 10 hot sex crazed stars!

Rachel who is a cellist is non existent in the world and sticks to a strict schedule and does not really experience much, kinda like me. I work a lot plus read and review and don't go out much.

Rachel seems very sheltered but she also chose to be that way to be a great cellist. Her friend Alex is awesome and tries to Rachel to do stuff and listen to different music.

Alex is awesome! I like how she buys beer for a hot tattooed guy and says it's from Rachel.

She is so scared but can't say no to hot tattoo guy. They have great chemistry and great sex, I had to fan myself a lot!

They even have sex in public! At Tilt too!

Sad part is when they don't exchange info even though she doesn't want to get distracted in Boston.

It makes me happy that she is going to Boston because it's only 2 hours from where I live.

Will she find Mr. Hot Tattoo Rocker for more hot sex? Will he seek her out? Have to wait for the next book.

This book was a emotional struggle with Jake and his past.  A young man who is trying to find his way in life and       decides to go off to war and prove his worth to his family. He is the middle child and needed to find his way.

After coming back, Livie who is best friends with his sister start to uncover the real hidden secrets of life while at war.

I say this is an emotional struggle for Jake because he goes through what most men and woman go through overseas for any military. There is always constant fear of dying, to be on your guard 24/7! You see friends die, or go home with limbs missing.

War is never easy and some of the biggest battles are when they come back home like Jake who has finally come home.

His family doesn't know what is going on.

Jake discovers that Livie is in love with him and always has been. She is in it for the long haul and takes time off from school to help Jake get a hold on life. This is true love.

Most girls would run for the hills but not Livie, she is one strong female even though she gets mixed signals from Jake before they discover that they both love each other.

I will say this was a great book and I love Jakes family who is there for him no matter what even though they do't know what his secrets are. They stand by him no matter what and I love families that do that.

A beautiful, funny, sad story that is written beautifully!

10 Stars for DARE!!!

I give this book 10 stars and I LOVED it!!

Josh and Sophie are meant for each other no matter what there background is!

Sophie is the massage therapist and Josh a UFC fighter with a soft side.

Both have troubled pasts that may catch up with them but they fight hard and will fight to keep Charlie alive.

Family dynamics in this is wonderful and everyone is very supportive of everyone no matter what.

This book is action packed and quite the roller coaster ride! It made me laugh, smile, swoon and cry and I never cry reading.

So I urge you to check this book out!

Rules of Protection

I give Rules of Protection by Alison Bliss 5 stars!

I couldn't put it down and it was a roller coaster ride from beginning to end!

Jake who is a federal agent protecting a key witness in a murder investigation and this girl knows just how to push his buttons!

Emily does not like following rules and and has a very big mouth which will constantly get her in trouble and in swoops jake to make it all better.

There is an attraction between Jake and Emily but its takes them a long time to figure it out and come to terms with it. Emily also has her heart shattered several times but I know where she is coming from because guys are never clear when they tell us things. It may be clear to them but not to us females, sorry you males but you have to spell it out for us.

So Jake is protecting the witness and sees family and friends which help conceal the reason Emily is in the middle of nowhere.

So this book is a roller coaster plus mood swings plus jealousy and lots of sex, hot steamy sex between Jake and Emily!

The family and friend dynamic plus the adventure you get on a roller coaster ride the entire time!

Not Much

Didn't do much today but did spend time with my niece. I also went to Walmart and still spent time with my niece.

It was a very nice lazy day and got to spend time with family.

I did some reading and need to put laundry in the dryer.

No one wants me around (friends) so I'm home and my grampa ordered pizza tonight so things aren't that bad.

Anyways before I bore you about me not feeling loved, I'm going to stop and watch some NCIS and do some more reading.

The Originals are getting good! So much family drama and Kol and Finn in different bodies. 

Esther is trying to do her worst for this family and Michael (father) wants to kill his bastard son.

Long time

Been a very long time since I last posted here. I have a few other journals that I write in as well.

Work has been good and the college goes on break next Friday night for winter break! Have five weeks off but will work in home health care and at the nursing home.

I chopped all my hair off and it's really short which is great but I now have to style it every morning.

Not much is new otherwise, just working and had a great thanksgiving. I spent time with my family and I enjoyed it then went to bed later.

I was tired!

Anyways I will try to post more on here and not neglect this journal! I need to write down goals and hang them up, could be very helpful.

My Sunday Night and Music

Hello to everyone!!!!!


I went to my boyfriends house on Sunday night for dinner and to meet his sister, brother in law and his 2 nieces. Dinner was around 5pm which I figured since it was Super Bowl Sunday. I met his sister and mom outside and went inside.

Emma (5yrs old) met me first and then Ava (2 yrs old). I hung up my jacket and took my shoes off then went and played with Emma and Ava. Emma really liked me and wanted to play with me so we did until dinner was ready. Ava is super cute and really does the funniest things for a 2 yr old.

Dinner was great and I had a glass of wine along with his sister Jen then we sat and watched superbowl! Josh's mom was happy that she could get more pictures of Josh even though he doesn't like his picture being taken. His mom was taking a picture of us but we only have like 2 pictures of us together so I was happy that his mom was taking some pictures.

Emma had a loose tooth and kept wiggling it and she even tried to pull it out but didn't succed and it was videotaped too.

I had a lot of fun and I really didn't want to go into work but I did and when I got out I was really tired. It was a very busy night at work and I went to sleep early. After waking up I got a phone call from work asking if I wanted to take the night off and I did and I will be getting paid for it too!

Okay, now on to music. I bought a cd from rightstuf.com and really like the album. The singer is Angela and the album name is I/O (Input and Output). It is in another language which is Japanese but I have listened to it and it's really good. Of course I don't know what the words are but I like.
