Honey Mustard Chicken Wings

Hello Thursday folks! I am bringing you another recipe for New Year's Eve and this recipe also has you making the sauce from scratch.

The sauce is only 4 ingredients and is easy to make.

I also want everyone to know that you can get boneless chicken instead of wings with the bone, I know some people prefer one to the other and that is okay.

I may try this recipe in the future and give the honey mustard a try.

This looks and sounds delicious! I may plan to make this next month, just need to plan out the shopping trip and when to make them.

I hope you enjoy this recipe and have fun making it. Have a great Thursday everyone!

Ideas for New Year's Eve and Taco Stuffed Zucchini Boats! Plus Updates

Hello and Good Morning! It is Wednesday and I hope all of you are doing well, hopefully, you have recuperated from Christmas but soon it will be New Year's Eve and that can be another busy night for most people.

For the updates first, I will be taking another short break from December 31st to January 2nd. Posts will resume after this short break, this means that you get recipes from today to Friday! There are no more breaks coming up unless something comes up in the family or I just need a break, I will let you all know if I need a break or plan one.

This week will be about ideas for NYE appetizers and meals and finger foods.

Also, I may try to switch things up and put in ideas for exercise and recipes for food. I will also write down what I post so I can keep track and not post the same things twice.

Now, onto the recipe for today! You can make this recipe anytime and you can make it for NYE too.

Today's recipe is Taco Stuffed Zucchini Boats! They look delicious and easy to make. I know kids can be picky eaters but maybe they would like this or if they like peppers, make a taco stuffed pepper.

Here is the link:  https://downshiftology.com/recipes/taco-stuffed-zucchini-boats/

You can always cut these in half as well if you don't want to eat the whole thing but this is a great idea.

Have fun with this recipe and enjoy!

Hello and happy Wednesday! It's the middle of the week and I will be working today but wanted to get this post scheduled while I am at work.

I received an email from Downshiftlogy and thought that this was an interesting recipe. I have never thought of adding pomegranate to guacamole. It looks very interesting and maybe I will try it, I am not a fan of guacamole so will need to find a use for the other half of the avocado.

Smoked Salmon Wreath

Disclaimer: I did google recipes for Christmas and I did not think about Kawanza or Haunaka which is wrong of me. I will look for recipes for those holidays too and share them. I am sorry I only looked up Christmas recipes.

Some Christmas recipes you can make all year if you want, this recipe today is similar to the holidays but you can make this any time of year.

Poached Chicken and Winter Vegetable Soup by Downshiftology

It's been about a week since I last posted, I really need to work on getting posts up and scheduling them. I am slacking a lot and that is not a good thing, hopefully, I can make this a new habit (schedule posts).

I hope everyone is doing well and are in good spirits this week, it's been cold where I live and we had a little snow the other night. Everything else is going good for now.

Today's recipe is soup, soups are great in the fall or on very cold winter days. I do not know how may of you may live somewhere where you get 4 seasons or just one. If you travel and are able to make soup on a cold and blustery day, soup is a great choice.

Today's recipe is called, "Poached Chicken and Winter Vegetable Soup" by Downshiftology. It looks delicious and I may try this soup in a few weekends.

Here is the link:   https://downshiftology.com/recipes/poached-chicken-winter-vegetable-soup/

There are some vegetables in this soup that I will not eat and this is okay, you can always add more vegetables or take out what you don't like for vegetables. I am a picky vegetable eater, always have been.

When I make this, I will post about it with pictures.

Thanks for reading and look for a few more recipes later today!

Ugly Christmas Sweater Sugar Cookies

Hello again! Here is recipe number 2 for you!

Tonight's recipe has to do with Ugly Christmas Sweaters! Now I don't know if I would have the patience to decorate like they do but just have fun and make an ugly sweater cookie the way you want to!

Here is the link;    https://www.pillsbury.com/recipes/ugly-christmas-sweater-sugar-cookies/3430e690-c469-4d17-8a8a-fc9184c4d51e?utm_source=Email_newsletter&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=PBD_12_01_2021_FussFree&vcode=AQAAAAEBAQEBAQEBAQEBAQEBAQEBYfnaRpjlS22nDnPyzG6RMBsc2PAlPt2H0M0-VkD2E3JwFBr-cI3I7XE1FXHjlKPGOZIdnqk3BPHUmw5dawlTkw==

Do you have the time or patience to decorate like in this pic? If you do, I commend you because I don't think I could do that. I would just make it anyway and make it ugly.

Thanks for reading, have a wonderful Friday and a great weekend!

Peanut Butter Cup Secret Center Cookies and Why I have been Absent

Hello and happy Friday!!!! It's the end of the week and I plan to relax this weekend and order Chinese food fr an early birthday gift to myself.

I have been working 2 jobs this week and fighting a cold that I got, it was not COVID and I am finally feeling better. I am not fully 100% yet but I am not as tired as I was. This is why I was absent most of this week.

To make up for my absence, I will post 2 recipes tonight and I will post another one tomorrow.  Today's recipe looks like a fun one and I think kids would enjoy making this. I may even try this recipe.

Today's recipe is Peanut Butter Cup Secret Center Cookies! Two of my favorite things in a dessert.

Here is the link:   https://www.pillsbury.com/recipes/peanut-butter-cup-secret-center-cookies/63f1bc02-0669-40b0-b80f-7bab60211c3b?utm_source=Email_newsletter&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=PBD_11_26_2021_FussFree&vcode=AQAAAAEBAQEBAQEBAQEBAQEBAQEBYfnaRpjlS22nDnPyzG6RMBsc2PAlPt2H0M0-VkD2E3IdIuKHsRRgoMxw8Gfhya0WMgJ6tmXMLh1p1LM8BuAziA==

It says the total time would be over 2 hours to make this, try this recipe if you have time and if you don't have time you can always buy the cookie dough in the store and add a peanut butter cup in the middle then cover the top.

Make these however you would like and have fun! Another recipe later tonight and thanks for reading!
