Hello and happy Monday! I hope it is sunny where you are, it is raining where I live right now and it rained all night too.

This week I will share more recipes and will continue to do that. I am going to schedule the posts so I do not forget. It is helpful to get everything written and scheduled and I do not have to worry about missing a day.

Today's recipe is Smothered Fingers and Toes from Pillsbury. Halloween is right around the corner and I wanted to share some fun recipes this week that relate to Halloween.

I saw this and it does look yummy! It will be great for kids too and kids will love it!

This is french fries, tater tots, beef, and taco seasoning. It looks fun and I would give this a try and make it for movie night.

It only has 8 ingredients! I love that it doesn't have a lot of ingredients because if you are very busy, this will help you have to prepare less and takes 35 minutes to make!

Thanks for reading and have a great Monday!

Chocolate Chip Cheesecake Bars

Hello and Happy Wednesday!! You are now halfway through the workweek and the weekend is almost here! Hot and humid days are approaching where I live so I may stay inside this weekend but hope to get outside for a short walk.

Today I bring you a recipe for Cheesecake bars! They look easy to make but take longer to bake and chill. If you have time to make this dessert, you will love them!

I know a lot of people love cheesecake and sadly, I am not a fan unless it's peanut butter or chocolate then I will eat some cheesecake. I am a picky eater.

You can make these on a day off or after work so you can have a cheesecake bar the next day, up to you.

Overnight Cheesy Bacon and Broccoli Egg Bake

Hello to all you beautiful and wonderful people!

I have not been around and I am sorry, had some bad days and dealing with a tropical storm, thankfully my town did not get too much damage but I know surrounding towns got way worse.

Today is Tuesday and I am a day late in posting recipes! I have a recipe for breakfast, I thought of this when I was looking at what to share, and sometimes you need to keep breakfast in mind.

Some people may be super busy in the morning or have time, this recipe you can make and put in the refrigerator overnight or portion out sizes and freeze them, then heat in the microwave and you have breakfast or breakfast on the go!

Made Some Foods!

 Hello and happy Tuesday!

I made some of the foods that I have talked about! There are a few pictures and it was fun to make these recipes.

The first recipe I made was the Chicken Bruschetta Chicken Pasta and that was easy! I made it on Saturday and it was delicious! I am making it again today for my lunch, it's super easy and fun to make.

The other recipe I tried was Overnight Oats, this recipe I learned about from a youtube video, I have been watching meal prep videos to get different ideas for lunches at home. One video had a lot of ideas and one was overnight oats.

Yesterday, I made the overnight oats and left it in the fridge from 4pm to this morning. I added a protein powder to it and ate it with mixed berries this morning. Peanut butter was added to it as well, not a lot. The overnight oats were very sweet and I could only eat a small portion.

Having leftovers of the Overnight Oats is fine with me. I just need to cut back on the sweetness. I used a Chobani Vanilla yogurt and used whole milk in it as well. It was easy to make and yummy, just too sweet so need to figure out what I need to subtract next time I make it.

This is the overnight oats with mixed berries and grapes that I had this morning.

This is the chicken Bruschetta Chicken Pasta that I made and had rice pilaf with it. It was delicious!!!!

Thanks for reading and have a great Tuesday!

Chicken Margherita Melt

Hello to all you beautiful and lovely readers! Happy Monday!!!

It's a fresh new week and a fresh start as well. I am sorry for not posting sooner, I did not schedule my posts for the week because I was being lazy yesterday and relaxing. I went to 2 baby showers 6 days apart and that made me exhausted but, it was fun!

So here I am, posting now, and will schedule the other 2 posts for Wednesday and Friday of recipes. I may share some fun news tomorrow with you folks on what I had for lunch on Saturday before I went to baby shower #2.

Today's recipe is fun, easy to make and you do not need a panini press to press the sandwich. If you have a panini press, please feel free to use it.

The recipe is Chicken Margherita Melt and I think that you can toast this in a pan, put it on toast or don't toast your bread and make it any way you like.

Here is the link:  https://www.pillsbury.com/recipes/chicken-margherita-melt/bc189bb7-1962-40a9-9f26-249d3fbf673a

This recipe is by Pillsbury too, I get emails from them all the time and I want to share the recipes with everyone.

You don't have to use pita bread unless you want to. You can use any bread you would like or use lettuce and wrap it up that way. Be creative and have fun with it, eat it hot or cold or however you would like to eat it.

Thanks for reading and have a beautiful Monday!

Cheesy Chicken Alfredo Dip

Hello and happy Wednesday!! We are now halfway through the workweek and I hope all of you are doing well so far. Today I bring you a recipe for an appetizer or you can make if for yourself if you would like to.

You can make this and share or dip nachos in it while watching a movie marathon or binge-watching a show.

Today I have a recipe for Cheesy Chicken Alfredo Dip! Americans love cheese, some people may not love cheese or are allergic to it. I hope anyone with a dairy allergy can find a substitute and still make this recipe.

Here is the link:https: //www.thereciperebel.com/cheesy-chicken-alfredo-dip/

This also has chicken in it and you can leave the chicken out if you would like, you don't have to use all the ingredients if you choose not to. You can make this any way you would like and be creative with the recipe, have fun with it.

Enjoy this recipe with family or friends or by yourself, have fun with this and dip nachos or bread or your favorite vegetable!

Thanks for reading and have a beautiful Wednesday!

Meatball Sub and Breadstick, a New Take on Meatball Sub

Hello and Happy Friday! Just to let everyone know, I plan to take the weekend off to relax so I will not be posting.

I have a recipe from Pillsbury today and it's a different take on Meatball Subs! It looks fun and I think kids and adults will love it no matter what. It's also great for dipping these in pasta sauce.

Here is the link:

https://www.pillsbury.com/recipes/meatball-and-breadstick-sub-skewers/419fc477-ef55-424c-87ae-104f12a4bfc2

You can arrange the bread on the skewer (stick) however you would like and as I always say, you can change the ingredients too.

I look at the recipe and I would use beef and not turkey for this, that is my personal prefrence.

Thanks for reading and I will post again next week, keep an eye on my blog. Have a great Friday!!!

5 Ingredient Pizza Recipe!

Hello and happy Sunday everyone! Sorry, this is late, I was hoping to post earlier this weekend but life got the best of me.

Here is the recipe that I promised, sadly,  have no pics.

5 Ingredient Pizza

Ingredients:

2 cups of spinach

2 (8 inches) whole-wheat tortillas

2/3 cup grated mozzarella cheese

1/8 tablespoon crushed red pepper flakes

1/2 cup marinara sauce

Heat oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit

Bake the tortillas for 2-4 minutes and take them out of the oven.

Flip the tortillas

Spread Marinara sauce on both tortillas

Sprinkle red pepper flakes on both

Arrange spinach

sprinkle mozzarella cheese

Bake until the cheese melts (5-7 minutes)

A Fun Recipe

Good morning and happy Tuesday! I hope everyone is doing well and wish you a wonderful day.

I found a recipe for stuffed chicken breasts, now this may not be healthy but if you have a cheat day, this I something you could make (when it's not hot out).

You can always substitute the broccoli and cheddar do different vegetables and cheese or do something completely different.

Be creative with this recipe and remember, if it's going to be a hot day, use the oven early in the morning if you can.

Mini Cream Cheese Flower Tarts

Normally, I have posted about healthy foods but I have a sweet tooth as well. So here is a recipe if you would like to try it.

I do think it's okay to have some sweets even if you are trying to eat better. You may not think the same as I do and that is okay.

It can be hard to give up your favorite foods or snacks when trying to eat better.

They look delicious and something fun to make. Some advice, if you are using the oven, cook early in the morning or after dinner. The oven heats up and can merge the kitchen very warm on shot day.

If you are having cool weather then you can make them anytime.

I know from experience and my grandmother that cooking with the oven on a hot day is not fun. Get it done early if you can.

Enjoy and have a great Wednesday!

Recipes!!!

Hello and happy Saturday everyone! I am sorry that I have not posted on Fridays like I usually do. The app on my phone to post on here is being all funky and not letting me post pics which is sad. So for now, I may just post about recipes and figure out a way to post pics and write from my computer.

Just so you all know I am not that tech-savvy but as long as my computer works and does not have an issue, I can use my computer.

I have been eating better, not 100% but I am trying to stick to better foods, I am skipping maybe 3 weeks of Factor_ meals because of fiances and I am trying to save plus I need to save up for dental work too. It's not fun giving up things but it is necessary.

The first link (below) is a video on how to make banana berry nice cream and it sounds yummy and is easy to make. I will be trying this in the future too and when I do, I will write about it. It uses almond milk but you may be able to use different milk or add a different yogurt and see how it comes out.

https://blog.myfitnesspal.com/watch/banana-berry-nice-cream/

The next link is for Dark Chocolate Yogurt pudding and this sounds amazing!!!

https://blog.myfitnesspal.com/watch/banana-berry-nice-cream/

It looks very yummy and both links look easy to make. You can make them for the kids and with the kids if you are looking for something to do and they are healthy too.

I use MyFitnessPal to track and log food, they offer recipes and show you what some meals may look like if you are trying to stick in a certain range of calories.

I wanted to share these with anyone who is reading my blog and thank you for reading. I hope to help out folks who read this and bring you some great ideas.

Thank you for reading and have a great weekend!

Cookies!!!

Hello everyone! This week I will be posting twice 😊 today and on Friday.

This post is about making oatmeal cookies which I did a little differently, the ingredients are the same but instead of mixing in the oats, I put them on top of the cookie dough.

The cookies came out flat which I didn’t think would happen. They are tasting great and if you think it’s a cookie fail, I love how my oatmeal cookies came out.

I have not really baked and goods in a long time so this was fun. Hopefully, I can bake more in the future.

On Friday I will share some more food ideas with all of you and maybe post twice a week. I gave it some thought and I will try posting twice a week, I will post on Mondays about movies/shows I watch and Fridays will be about food.

I have another blog called, "Life as I Live It". This is where I post what I may be going through, working out it just trying to stay positive.

Popcorn in a Paper Bag

Hello everyone!

I hope you are all well and I have something fun to share 😊 I made popcorn in a paper bag! Yes it may be silly but I enjoyed it and it’s something fun for kids to try too.

The directions are below the popcorn picture and you can add butter and salt after. If you do this with kids please make sure they do not get burned.

Kids will love this and you can have a movie night too or just enjoy a snack.

More to come during the week, thank you for stopping by and have a great week! ❤️

Boxing with Nintendo Switch

Today’s review is about boxing! It’s on the Nintendo Switch and it’s a great way to workout!! I love it 🥰

I took a screen shot from my phone and looked up the game on Amazon.com

When you download the demo, you get 4 days (you can skip days in between the workouts) then you have the option to buy the game.

Right now the game is $49.99 and can go up in price depending on where you look. I think the price of the game is good compared to paying $60 but I am on a budget.

With the demo download you get to try out the game and see if you want to buy the full version or not.

You get different trainers and it’s a great way to workout even if you do 15 minutes. It’s one way of learning to box at home and in the comfort of a room especially during this pandemic.

I have not made it this far but any workout I do with boxing or with Zumba or Just Dance, I have fun and get a workout in.

You can do this game by yourself or have a friend over and both of you can workout.

I recommend this game to anyone who is looking to workout, have fun and enjoy workout games.

It’s the start of nothing good.

I fired off a storm of raunchy text messages…to the wrong number.

And he replied.

Him: Show me a picture.

Him: Tell me your name.

Why does the lure of anonymity have me craving to indulge a stranger?

It’s the start of everything right.

I received a slew of text messages…when everything in my life was wrong.

And she made me laugh again.

Her: You’re probably a creeper.

Her: Possibly a stalker.

Why do I have the overwhelming need to find this stranger who saved me and make her mine?

Him: Take a chance with me.

Her: This is crazy.

Him: I need to see you.

Her: What are we doing?

Him: We’re about to find out.

Win Big by Bella Love-Wins

Win Big by Bella Love-Wins

I give this 5 stars!

I LOVED it!!! Sam is very career oriented and always has her nose in a book so she can get a job with MLB but her chances get detailed after Even gets injured.

These two strong personalities meet and dislike eachother but somehow start finding a attractiveness to eachother.

Fast paced book but well worth the read. You will love Evan who is a cocky smart mouth and Sam who is career oriented.

I recommend this book to anyone who loves sports and romance or if you want a quick read.

All Hallows Eve by Heather Graham

Review for All Hallow's Eve by Heather Graham

All Hallow’s Eve by Heather Graham
Review done by Cassandra for Cassandra’s Reviews
I received an ARC for an honest review

I give this 5 stars.

This was a fantastic story for Halloween. I loved it from the beginning and you can not tell who is doing what and why spooky things happen in Salem, Massachusetts.
All Hallows Eve kept me on edge and turning the page. It is delightful and fun with every character. You may think you know who did it but you will be surprised.
Spooky things happen in an old mortuary plus a graveyard and ghosts come out in the night just to scare you. You may not see them but they can see you.

I recommend you get this book if you are looking a for a great Halloween story, then this is it! It’s short and fun but you get a lot more in this story than any other book you will read.

About ALL HALLOWS EVEA Krewe of Hunters Novella

Salem was a place near and dear to Jenna Duffy and Samuel Hall—it was where they'd met on a strange and sinister case.

They never dreamed that they'd be called back. That history could repeat itself in a most macabre and terrifying fashion.

But, then again, it was Salem at Halloween. Seasoned Krewe members, they still find themselves facing the unspeakable horrors in a desperate race to save each other—and perhaps even their very souls.

“I’m not a child,” Elyssa reminded them. “Come June, I’ll be both a high school grad and over eighteen.”
“And that means you’ll stop loving and caring for your parents?” Jamie asked.
“Of course not. But Uncle Jamie, they think I’m crazy.”
“It’s going to be fine,” Jenna said. “Your mom knows that you called me, right?”
Elyssa nodded. “I seem to have the gift. My mom doesn’t, so she’ll never understand.”
“Some people never do,” Jenna said. “But that doesn’t mean she doesn’t love you. So what we’re going to do is this. You’ll say you can’t help but be concerned and worried. And I’ll say that Sam and I have come because we’ve realized just how long it’s been since we’ve been back here, so why not check out this situation for you. How’s that?”
She looked at Jamie and Elyssa.
“Omission in itself can be a lie,” her uncle said. “But, okay, it’s not a lie.”
The admission came just in time, as the doorbell rang. They could hear the door open and Sam’s deep voice as he introduced himself to Susan and Matt Adair, Elyssa’s parents.
“Jenna,” Susan Adair said, hurrying across the room with a huge hug. “Have you had a chance to speak with Elyssa? You’ve explained that, while it’s sad and tragic, poor Mr. Bradbury took his own life. All I think about are his children. This will be so hard for them.”
“Not to worry,” Jenna said. “We’ve assured Elyssa that we’ll look into it all and that she needs to worry about school and midterms.”
Sam laid his hands on Jenna’s shoulders. “It never hurts to be thorough. That’s what the bureau is all about. But Jenna is right. Elyssa doesn’t have to worry or be concerned about a thing.”
“See,” Susan said, turning to her daughter triumphantly. “That’s all good.”
Matt Adair had been hovering by the door, watching the reunion. He was fit––an athletic man, coaching football at the local high school. They were quite the odd couple. Susan, Irish-looking with carrot red hair and amber eyes, a ball of fire and energy. Matt, except for when he was on the football field, a model of quiet and calm.
He greeted Jenna with a hug, then said, “I never like to say there’s nothing to worry about.”
