I went with the 4 meals a week and I got my first box! Next delivers on Tuesday 😊

I have eaten 3 of the 4 meals I got and they are very yummy! The first one I tried Pork Tenderloin with Cabbage Casserole and that was sooo good!

****
I tried posting this several times from my phone and for some reason, it is not working.  I even had a pic but maybe I will try again this week.

Anyways this will be a short post, since I can't access the pic on my computer, Yes I know that if you hook up your phone you can get the pic. My computer is a funny one and will not let me.

I will try from my phone again in a little while.

Garlic Chicken and Parm Rice

Today I had Garlic Chicken with rice and instead of parm cheese, I added cheddar cheese. Here is the link;

I will say that cheddar cheese and rice do not go together at all. It’s my opinion and even though I didn’t follow the recipe, I will try it again.

Here is what my version looked like:

The chicken was great and the rice would have been too if I didn’t add cheese but overall I enjoyed this meal.

I also added bok choy and broccoli (not in the picture) as well. I got 3 servings out of this meal and it’s just me eating it.

I may try this again soon and follow the recipe.

I ordered from Factor_ which is meals delivered and only got 4 meals for the next 3 weeks, I got a great deal too and they should be here next Tuesday.

Thanks for reading and have a great weekend! ❤️

10 Tips to Help You Be Healthier

Hello, sorry my post is late. I try to observe American holidays and yesterday was Martin Luther King day and I didn’t want to post.

Here is a link for anyone who is trying to make better habits to a healthier you.

I saw it and it’s a great article and provides tips to better habits while trying to lose weight or it can help you if you are trying to be better mentally.

I tell people “try not to sweat the small stuff”, it can be hard but once you learn to let go and just want to be happier and better, everything will fall into place.

Some things you may not be able to control, try to remeber “ I did my best and that makes me happy”.

I struggle a lot and I tell myself to just breathe and it will be ok. I also do my best to “live my best life” (courtesy of Mike Sorrintino) he said that and he’s right.

Lice your best life! Take the reins and be better, have fun and be happy! Get outside if you can, do what makes you happy.

It took me far to long to finally work on my mental happiness and 2021 is going to be my best year! I’m no longer worrying what people think, I focus on being better mentally and physically (workout and walks). I’m happy and January has been great so far.

I hope the article helps everyone in any way, make it work for you and find what works for you.

Have a wonderful Tuesday! I will post about food on Friday 😊❤️

Cucumbers and Vinegar

Here is an article about vinegar and cucumbers, it’s healthy and I love cucumbers and vinegar. Sometimes I add salt and other times add a lot of salt (not healthy to add a lot of salt)

It’s a healthy snack if you are looking for snack ideas, you can try rice vinegar too

Here is an article from WebMD on vibegar and if you have some health issues. Vinegar may not be a good choice for some.

* I am trying to eat better myself and healthier, I wrote posts about food and other things to help give ideas to anyone who reads my post. I just want to share and help people.*

Today’s Lunch

Hello and happy Friday! I’m exhausted but feeling great and tomorrow is my virtual 5k race.

Since Friday is for food ideas, here is what I had for lunch today.

The roast beef is only a day old, could be the lighting. Anyways I loved Panera’s beef and cheddar sandwich with horseradish mayo and when I’m on a budget I make this at home.

I buy a French baguette, roast beef and cheddar cheese. I already have horseradish Mayo in the fridge and yes I like pickles on my sandwiches.

I do my best to eat smaller portions but this one is a bit bigger. It’s nothing fancy and may not be super healthy but I like it and you can use any condiment spread you want.

Okay, that was you helping of food for today, I’m tired and plan to relax the rest of today for the 5k tomorrow.

Have a great Friday and look for a post on Monday 😊

Random Post Today

Hello 👋 again!

I just looked through email and found an interesting article. The article is about forming better habits to a healthier you, you can switch it up if you would like or make your own.

It’s from MyFitnessPal and I use there app to track my food intake and of course I’m working on being healthier.

It won’t be easy to start a new habit but you can always start small and work your way up.

Take a look and best of luck to all of you! Have a great day!

Cookies!!!

Hello everyone! This week I will be posting twice 😊 today and on Friday.

This post is about making oatmeal cookies which I did a little differently, the ingredients are the same but instead of mixing in the oats, I put them on top of the cookie dough.

The cookies came out flat which I didn’t think would happen. They are tasting great and if you think it’s a cookie fail, I love how my oatmeal cookies came out.

I have not really baked and goods in a long time so this was fun. Hopefully, I can bake more in the future.

On Friday I will share some more food ideas with all of you and maybe post twice a week. I gave it some thought and I will try posting twice a week, I will post on Mondays about movies/shows I watch and Fridays will be about food.

I have another blog called, "Life as I Live It". This is where I post what I may be going through, working out it just trying to stay positive.

New Year and Food

Hello and Happy New Year!!! 🎊🎈

I am back with some food reviews and I am trying to eat healthier. This week I bought kale and spring mix to make salads and I got some broccoli as well.

I cooked the kale on the stovetop and added garlic and some salt. It tastes soo good with salt too but you only need a little bit.

After I cooked my steak strips with snow peas and some cauliflower and yes garlic too. I love garlic.

After it was all cooked, I had lunch. Everything tasted great and wish I had bok choy to add to it, the kale is great for a snack too.

I bought the vegetables and spent maybe $20, depending on what you get and if you budget wisely, you can get a lot for your dollar.

The meat was a little more expensive but I’m on with that. I feed myself so I slit up the meat in the package into separate bags when I get home. This way I can take them out of the freezer when I want.

Hope this helps give you ideas and you can add any vegetables you want to meats or a salad or to whatever you like to eat.
