Spenser Confidential Review

I watched Spenser Confidential today and it was AMAZING!!!!! This is on. Netflix too.

This movie has a lot of action and takes place in Massachusetts! I do not live far from there and it's nice to see the movie set in Boston and around Massachusetts.

Mark Wahlberg did a great job playing an ex-cop and setting things right.  I will not give a lot away, do not want to spoil it for anyone who has not seen the movie.

There is bad language and violence but plenty of action and you need to watch for Black Betty! I love Black Betty!!!

Post Malone plays a part in this film which I did not know about until I just looked at the other cast members. I guess I need to be better prepared when I type reviews.

Anyways, Post Malone is. in this film along with Alan Arkin, Winston Duke, and Iliza Shlesinger. A great cast made this movie and I give it 10 out of 10!

You should be watching this movie with all its action and Black Betty! Also, watch it because it takes place in South Boston and it's a great movie!

Robin Hood Movie Review (2018)

Been awhile since I posted here but I watched Robin Hood 2018 movie. I did not go to the movie theater to see it but I bought the movie through ITunes.

This is the poster for the movie, may not be the one that was widely used but I wanted to let people know what I’m talking about.

Well this movie is action packed and has great visual affects. I enjoyed the movie very much and it’s nice to see a different take on it even if just slightly different. 

Don’t worry, I won’t spoil too much here in case you have not seen the movie yet.

It’s different from what I have grown up with but always love the remakes of Robin Hood. The church is bigger and wants to rule the world along with the Sherriff of Nottingham.

What I didn’t expect was the fashion choices made for Maid Marion and when they hold a party. The fashion that was chosen would not have been worn during that time period and cleavage would not have been shown!

It was mixed in well with the party but certainly not time period pieces. Even the hair would not have been worn the way it was.

Despite the some of the fashion choices, I give Robin Hood 4.5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. I’m taking a half star off for fashion not being time period pieces. Overall it’s a great movie with great actors and great action!

I give this book 3.5 stars

I like it but hate it and there is one major part that I am not okay with! I will try my best to not spoil it for you but that will be hard to do so fair warning I may have spoilers in here.

It just bugs me on the part that I am not okay with which is a company that takes woman to make them into sex slaves! I am against THAT!!!

I liked Julianna who is a very strong, fierce independent woman who fights back. She is a great role model for younger woman and I lover her fighting back every step of the way through her stay at a company who makes sex slaves.

Nick has apparently stalked her, knows what she likes and all that jazz. He is gross, temperamental and a sick moron! Travis sounds super gorgeous and is quite a manipulator and he plays  the woman very well, give them an inch they will take a mile.

The facility they are in so high tech the toilet can read what is in your pee which is disgusting! This place makes me sick that they track what is in your system, drug you and place chips and a ankle bracelet on you without your consent!!

This book left me feeling so mixed that I really don’t know what to tell you. I love reading books and I have read very kinky erotic stories but not like this one. This one left me feeling very mixed about it. I’m not sure I would recommend it, maybe if I get a chance to review the next book in the series it may get better, hopefully.

I want Julianna to get home to her father and she misses him, I want her to free of that hell hole she is in.

10 motocross stars!!!!

I LOVED this book!!! I like when you get hot sporty guys that don’t want a committed relationship but end up finding the “one”. I love these stories and get  to meet all kinds of characters.

James aka Flame and motocross rider is on his game in the sports world, he heads back for a wedding and meets the lovely Dakota who is a student. She captures his heart without knowing it either, of course she likes him too.

Dakota and James have fun and then he leaves her! Now why would he do that?! If you have these feelings, why walk away?

I know Dakota would not take him back easily and she is one strong woman in my eyes. After James is in an accident, his life takes on a different spin and now he is determined to get Dakota back.

I read the blurb and thought this book would depend on what happened between the time James left Dakota and the time he comes back to fight for her. You will not be disappointed when you read this book and find out what happens when James comes back to win her and her heart back!

I recommend this book to anyone who loves motocross romances.

This is a 5 star read that will take you to the edge of your seat!

I didn't want to put it down at all and it keeps you turning the page well in the late hours of the night!

Tristan is the youngest of 5 children and her mother goes missing after giving birth. Tristan goes missing after she starts her own investigation from a school assignment.

The family is scared that history will repeat itself and want to find Tristan fast. Everyone is a suspect even her father.

Will the family find Tristan or will she end up like her mother?

I recommend you get this book and read it to find how the mother disappeared and what happens to Tristan. You will not be disappointed!

5 Stars!! I loved this book.

I started this book not having a clue what it was about. I was glad I kept reading and fell in love with Katherine when I first met her! Witty, strong willed and independent woman is my kind of girl!

She takes on the world or at least the town and goes into a business venture with a man she just met. A huge risk to take but she does like him, a little.

Katherine hides what really happens in her life and why she stays away from family. Her home life growing up was not good and she dated an older man, much older!

Katherine is strong and will not back down but Holst holds on tight to her line. He likes her but also wants her to open up about her family and her life. He wants her to feel happy and safe again and know that he will be by her side.

Friends are helpful when she needs them and they are a great support system. They do things behind eachothers back but for good reasons too! Frodo is a great friend to Katherine and helps her see things in a different light.

Will Holst and Katherine risk what they have or fall apart? Get this book and you will not be disappointed!!!

I liked this book from beginning to end! It has a spin of Robin Hood and I love it! We get to meet Declan aka “Gypsy” who robs the rich and gives to the poor in historical times. I think we all need a man like Declan who is willing to give up his life and give back to the poor. I like that in a guy.

I did fall in love with Declan and Alethea in this book and fell in love with secondary characters as well. This book is well written for a historical time piece and I loved it. I like historical time pieces and being able to transport back to those times and live through the characters.

You will enjoy this book and go on an emotional ride with laughing, crying, and just feeling what the characters are feeling. I don’t see this in many books these days or don’t feel it but this book really brought out emotions in me.

You will also love Jack and Declan, they are laugh out loud funny and it’s great when you can laugh out loud with a book when you are reading. I recommend this to anyone who is looking for fun in historical times.

Prepared to Fight

I am reading Prepared to Fight by E.J. Shorthall and will be doing a review for it as well. I will post this review when it is time and I have many more books to read and review. I have a busy month coming up for books.

Book Club and Editor

I saw a form on Facebook and filled it out. It was to join a book club to do reviews and I have been doing that for awhile. I was unsure if they would accept me but they did! I'm also an editor for the club and the facebook page which I'm excited for!!

So I have signed up for arcs and promos so I will be busy next month. I like to read and review plus I liek promoting too so that way you as a reader can see what I am promoting.

My typing is not so good at the moment because I am tired and need to get into bed soon, so with that I will say goodnight.

Heart stopping crazy love and madness rolled into one!

This book kept me on edge and wanting more. King who is fresh out of prison falls for a mysterious girl who shows up to party.

King is panty melting HOT with tattoos! I love tattoos. I'm drooling now:)

He tries to work with new emotions but things from his past keep clouding his judgement and making stupid calls.

Doe doesn't remember who she is but falls for King and Preppy. A dysfunctional family but strong and willing to do anything for her.

Bad guys come and try to harm people but that is not as bad as someone else!!!

I won't give any more out but you need to read this and I highly recommend it to anyone!

The language in it is not bad but it slightly bothered me and I got beyond it because I enjoyed this book.

50 Shades of Grey

I wasn't sure what to expect when I rented this movie. I had heard many reviews on it and that a lot of people loved the movie. I rented it first in case I didn't like it. I alos recomeend that people rent it if you have not seen it.

There wer funny parts and good parts in this movie but overll it lacked alot!!! I didn't like the actors who played Ana and Christian. They lacked a lot of chemistry when making this film and Iknow that they had to reshoot scenes.

I do like Kate and when she said "You have to admit he is ridiculousy hot", made me laugh and that was when she was looking at a picture of Grey to use for the school paper.

The drunk dialig at the bar was funny too which I can see happeneing since Gey can't get out of Anas head now.

The one thing tht destroys this movie is when Grey says "Laters Babyyy", it sounds so awful when he says it! There is no tone to, its a tone deaf voice saying it and it is just awful!!!!!

Taylor (the driver) I do like and he plays is part well.

When Ana starts messaging him from the cmputer he gets her, I like the pop ups that tell us what they are saying. This way people who have not read the book will know what they are saying.

Ana just signs a non disclosure agreement without reading it! Always read what you are going to sign!!!!!!
that just irks me to no end.

Also a list of foods in the D/S contract, tht does not sit well with me! Why would I eat from alist of foods that is given to me? I would eat heathy but I wouldn't give up fooddds that I like or any comfort foods. That just will not sit well with me ever. Unless a docotor tells me I need to cut back on something then I will eat what I want.

You are probably think that I just didn't like the whole thing but if you take out the sex part you could have a romance/comedy movie.

I have read all 3 books of this series and this is the worst adaptaion from book to big screen! They left out so much and it went to fast. They didn't butcher Harry Potter but wwwwith this film, 5 Shades of Grey was HORRIABLE!!!!!!!

I would only give it 1 star, this movie lacked in a lot areas and acting is one of them!
The actors were horriable, there was no chemistry between Ana and Christian, left out a lot, and the ending sucked and never happened in the book!!!!

Hitchhiker Review

Wow! Amazing! Couldn't put it down and didn't want to put down!!! Such a roller coaster ride of emotional highs and lows between Dawson and Chandler.

Their story is unique in many ways where one is finding herself and Dawson just finding the next town to stay in for a bit.

They start putts strangers but evolve into more. Chandlers fiancé try's to control and he is a BIG jerk! She realizes what she has become and decides to figure out what to do.

With a controlling fiancé and deciding what to do, Chandler embarks on a trip of a lifetime! With very little with her she drives until she figures out where to go and meets Dawson (hitchhiker) on the way.

Can their love last after only being intimate for a short time?

Get this book and read it, I wanted to cry, shake Dawson and hold Chandler when she had no one to turn too.

I loved this book, went on every emotional ride with Dawson and Chandler and wanted to cry with them!

I'm looking forward to more from Stacy Borel and I LOVED this book!! I would give this book 10 stars instead of 5 stars. Fantastic read, adventure, love, mystery and suspense with all the family drama involved.

LOVE it!!!!

I did a review for Gemma on goodreads and amazon to help her out. I love her work and she and other authors deserve a review even if you don't like the series or book!

Always leave a review no matter what! The author appreciates what you have to say and if I was a book writer I would too. If you don't like the book or series or it just rubs you the wrong way, then let the author know by their website,blog or leave a review.

I think it is important to do that and I hope that people do.
