Work and Movies

So I am working, well doing LNA mods for work and taking a small break at the moment.

i'm watching The Draft and I watched another movie last night called Dissconnect which was sad but very interesting to watch. It centers around the internet and social media. Social media really plays a big part in life today and can make someone really unhappy when they are bullied online or people post negative comments.

Years ago, about 15 years social media was not well known like it is today. There was no facebook and no twitter. My classmates went on into chatrooms to chat with people or look up stuff for a class.

Today there is more access to apps and online bullying plus people do stupid things or play a joke on someone then it leads to suicide where a child or teenager can'y cope with it anymore. It's sad to see this today and yes I use my phone apps a lot but not for negative things. I like to stay positive for people who read my review blog and I like what I do.

So I urge people who read this to think twice about what you post on Facebook, twitter and instagram because this will live on and can't be taken back even if you delete it.

50 Shades of Grey

I wasn't sure what to expect when I rented this movie. I had heard many reviews on it and that a lot of people loved the movie. I rented it first in case I didn't like it. I alos recomeend that people rent it if you have not seen it.

There wer funny parts and good parts in this movie but overll it lacked alot!!! I didn't like the actors who played Ana and Christian. They lacked a lot of chemistry when making this film and Iknow that they had to reshoot scenes.

I do like Kate and when she said "You have to admit he is ridiculousy hot", made me laugh and that was when she was looking at a picture of Grey to use for the school paper.

The drunk dialig at the bar was funny too which I can see happeneing since Gey can't get out of Anas head now.

The one thing tht destroys this movie is when Grey says "Laters Babyyy", it sounds so awful when he says it! There is no tone to, its a tone deaf voice saying it and it is just awful!!!!!

Taylor (the driver) I do like and he plays is part well.

When Ana starts messaging him from the cmputer he gets her, I like the pop ups that tell us what they are saying. This way people who have not read the book will know what they are saying.

Ana just signs a non disclosure agreement without reading it! Always read what you are going to sign!!!!!!
that just irks me to no end.

Also a list of foods in the D/S contract, tht does not sit well with me! Why would I eat from alist of foods that is given to me? I would eat heathy but I wouldn't give up fooddds that I like or any comfort foods. That just will not sit well with me ever. Unless a docotor tells me I need to cut back on something then I will eat what I want.

You are probably think that I just didn't like the whole thing but if you take out the sex part you could have a romance/comedy movie.

I have read all 3 books of this series and this is the worst adaptaion from book to big screen! They left out so much and it went to fast. They didn't butcher Harry Potter but wwwwith this film, 5 Shades of Grey was HORRIABLE!!!!!!!

I would only give it 1 star, this movie lacked in a lot areas and acting is one of them!
The actors were horriable, there was no chemistry between Ana and Christian, left out a lot, and the ending sucked and never happened in the book!!!!

Logos!

I got logos for my blog and I will post them tomorrow! I'm trying to stay offline since I have used most of my data package nd trying to not go over it. It will renew tomorrow so I will be posting a lot.

In other news, I have finished 2 books, reviews coming soon and reading 3 books. Yes I like reading. Watching Night at the Museum so more tomorrow.

As Above So Below

Here is my review for As Above So Below

It was not that great, I give it 3 stars and I honestly that is me being generous. I

like horror movies and I bought As Above So Below. Its losing its appeal half way through

I like the idea of using the catacombs and having atreasure down there and the gates of hell, but I find the movie lacking in the second half. The movie is like any other paranormal movie I have seen Its recycling what others have done before and using it to their advantage!

I'm already bored watching it and will be turning it off soon,  there needs to be more to this plot but of course the people that made it could not think of a better plot for the second half and it should have continued or explained the treasure a lot ore!

Anyways I am giving this movie a 3 star review, first half was great for a treasure hunt in the catacombs and it certainly lacks n the second half The ending sucks too,great three people got out but really bad ending.

Working but got Frostfire!

I got mail today and my case for my tablet came plus the book Frostfire by Amanda Hocking I was unaware that we get mail on Sunday now. I asked around and a few people told me that it could be from the holiday and that is why we get mail on Sunday.

Still I appreciate whoever delivered the package to my residence, its nice of you that you are working on a Sunday to deliver my package. Thank you

I will be reading Frostfire tonight and watching As Above So Below. I bought it today and decided to watch it before bed :) Nice scary movie before bed and I have an early morning tomorrow. Good luck to me.

Okay, going to do one more thing before I clock into work then home about 8ish I hope.

The Giver

I went to the movies tonight and saw The Giver. It was a good movie and I thought that thepeoe who worked on it did a very good job.

I haven't read the book since I was in middle school (late 90's) but from what I remember it's pretty close to the book.

I would give it 5 stars for staying close to the book. 

I want to read the book again too so that is on my list of books to read.

Life

Drama unfolded today but I'm relaxing now and staying positive. Watching The Hobbit and want to see the next one which I hope to this weekend.

Not much is new, we got a snowstorm and more snow is on the way.

Glad i bought snow pants and snow boots, they came in handy over the weekend.
