The Hazards of Skinny Dipping Hazards #1) by Alyssa Rose Ivy
Review
Review done by Cassandra Brooker for Alpha Book Club
This is a 10 star book!!!
This book isn’t about first love or self discovery just to
give you a heads up but it is very good!
I loved it from beginning to end! I felt that it was very
real and you could feel everything that Juliet was going through. She went
through a lot of her freshman year at Harrison.
I did not like Dylan, he sounds awful and very controlling
to the point you wouldn’t have a life! I don’t like that type of guy at all. He
seems nice at first and for him to claim Juliet is his girlfriend without
telling her is not right!!! He even has his frat brothers checking on her, is
she supposed to have no life at all while at college?!
Juliet meets Reed at a game of Laser Tag, she thought he was
good looking but didn’t like what he was wearing and no it wasn’t the gear.
Reed is everything you want in a guy and he is super sweet.
He gives Juliet a job and they get to know each other unlike Dylan who just
shoves his way in and controls Juliet. Reed has more respect and hates Dylan.
He will protect Juliet and he doesn’t care what he has to do.
Well I won’t spoil the rest for you; I will say you should
read this book. Alyssa did a great job writing it and I LOVED it!!! I recommend
it if you want to read about a girl who checked off a list and does things she
may not do again or will she?
I will include an excerpt for you;
This isn't a deep book about first loves or self-discovery.
If you want a book like that, I'd be happy to recommend one, but I don't have
that kind of story to tell. Instead my story is about rash decisions and
finding out that your dream guy is bad in bed. It's the story of when I finally
went skinny dipping, and how my life was never the same again. Oh, and it's
also the story of my freshman year of college and realizing Mr. Right might
have been there all along.
