He stands up fast and begins to pace the small room, “I don’t want everyone to know, not that it matters now. I wasn’t jumping for joy when I won because I didn’t want to win.” He doesn’t want to win?

“What? Why not?”

“Because I don’t want to have to fucking be doing this! It’s not something I do for fun; it’s something I do because it is a damn necessity. I would love to be like you guys and be able to hang out, enjoy school, and not need to worry about how I was going to pay for my next semester, but I’m not!” He is yelling now and half of me wishes I had never made the decision to come back here.

I don’t know what to say. I guess I just assumed he was fighting to fulfill some masculine, testosterone-fueled need to hit something. I stand up and walk over to him. He has his back to me, but I decide to be brave and put my hand on him, hoping to comfort him in whatever way I can. “I’m sorry you are in this position. Maybe it would be easier on you if you weren’t hiding it, though. Everyone cares about you and they aren’t going to judge you and turn their backs on you for something like this. It may not seem like much coming from me, since we don’t know each other well, but I’m here if you ever need someone to talk to.”

He spins around, and before I know it, he spins me around and has me backed up against the wall. He slams his hands on either side of my head, trapping my hands with them, and then crushes his mouth to mine. I let out a gasp of surprise and he takes advantage, slipping his tongue into my mouth. This is the first book I have read by EJ Shorthall and loved it! Could not put it down at all.
Full roller coaster ride from beginning to end!
When I started this book, the beginning did not start like I thought it would but I LOVED how it started. Not your usual get down to business but starts off with great sass and banter.
Olivia is a strong willed independent woman who is career focused and no time for love.
Nate is a MMA fighter who owns his own company and gym. Did I mention HOT? He is super HOT!
Nate and Olivia meet at the gym and instantly there is a sexual charge between them, they don't know it yet but there is.
After training for a bit Nate has business out of the country and invites Olivia along. Many things stir up while in another place, secrets float around and Nate doesn't open up much to her or anyone.
I can relate to Olivia and being focused because I too work a lot and I'm focused on my work. We are both strong independent females.
This book takes a grip on you and won't let you go until the end. This book is about learning to love, put everything on the line and trust new people. It's also about finding yourself too. I would recommend this book to anyone who would love some English bantar and it gets 5 stars!

Another book and thinking of changing my blog title

Okay I have been working and spending time with family, feels that it has been a lot longer since my last post but it's only been 4 days!

Anyways the book I read is: 

Come (The Fight Club) by Becca Jameson.

I enjoyed this book A LOT!!!! 

I also think I like buff men with tattoos. I like tattoos in general and I have 4 on my body.

This book is about Katy who is being stalked and she is a lawyer. 

One day she visits her uncle Joe and spots Rafe who is a MMA fighter (on the side)

Rafe has a secret that he wants to tell Ms. Katy but waits for a long time to even tell her!

Men if you have a secret, tell us! We woman don't like being kept in the dark!!!

Anyways Rafe likes being Dominant and he tells Katy his secret, will she run for the hills? Or stay with him?

You should read this book, I will warn that it is a erotic book that goes into the world of BDSM and is for mature audiences only!!!

Find out if Katy and Rafe stay together!

Such a good book and I'm reading the next one in The Fight Club Series.

I will try to post more this week but I'm going to read. Loving tattos and men, yum!
