Caitlin was familiar with broken hearts, hers had been shattered years before. Unvoiced desires filled her, fear of rejection her constant companion, holding her back from the love she wanted desperately.

Gavin’s work was the solace filling the empty void in his heart. Except everyone in his life had found that one, except for him, and as each day ticked by he became more certain that his deep dark desires were never going to be met.

5 stars, loved it!

This is a quick read but it is filled with fears, lust, love and masques. It kept me turning the page to find out the story with Gavin and Caitlin.

Caitlin has a fear of rejection while Gavin fears of being lonely for the rest of his life. I can relate to both characters and it made me love them more. I am single and have had a broken heart from past relationships and I’m scared I will be all alone the rest of my life because I have not found prince charming.

These characters find each other and risk a lot with wearing masques and exploring  what could be. Both happy and I hope they don’t let it go.

Will they be able to get beyond what has happened in the past and move forward? Will Caitlin fulfill Gavins desires?

Great read and I would highly recommend this book to anyone.
