Epilogue Dark Witch

Iona feels that she wasn't strong enough which Connor and Branna say "bullocks to that".

They told her when she finished the circle that they heard her call and the rest if them came to help.

Cabhan slipped through time taking Iona with him before she finished the circle. This is how Cabhan was winning. His power was stronger here.

Fin and Branna didn't know Cabhan could slip through time so easily and Branna will make sure it doesn't happen again.

Most everyone got hurt except Branna but they helped tend to each other's wounds.

Branna had everyone help with dinner except Boyle and Iona. They took the brunt of most if the attacking so they got to sit by the fire while everyone else helped make dinner.

Boyle is talking to Iona and now has her faith and then he says he wants to get married. Yes he proposed to her which catches ions off guard and question it.

I would too if someone did that to me.

Boyle thinks they are good for each other and they have horses in commonso they should get married.

Kinda funny because I'm practical and I like things in order and Boyle says they have horses in common and that he lives get so why not get married?!

Boyle told Iona that he wasn't throwing the words out there like water making fire go out.  He meant it when he asked her to marry him and he was I love with her. 

He told he he loved her and wouldn't be the same without her since they took that break and he wanted a family one day too.

Iona said yes and Boyle would be ok to get married the next day but she wants Nan to be there and get a dress too. Boyle said he needed to get her a ring, something shiny!

Boyle agreed that they would wait because he wanted to book Ballintubber Abbey. They went there on a day off so Iona could see the land and really liked the abbey.

Alastair was happy for Iona and she knew it plus she wanted to tell the others. She was now loved, given freely and taken willingly. She was loved at last.

Meanwhile, in the deep if the woods in a whole other time frame Cabhan was in a lot of pain. His power was very dark magick and he started to heal and to plan.

He may have lost this battle but he would be ready for the next battle.

Chapter 21 Dark Witch

So I left off when Iona went to Boyle and wanted him for a night.

It was morning and she was done showering so she wanted to tend to Alastair before heading home.

Fin ride with her and went over the plan that Branna had come up with.

Iona also went to get ready and to make charms for Alastair so he would be protected.

It was now time to go the Sorchas cabin and wait for Cabhan to arrive. Iona made a circle and finished even though Cabhan showed up.

He threatened Iona (of course) and said he would take her power away by just one kiss like he did with Sorcha.

Iona fought him with her sword and did hurt him a little but he hurt Alastair more then the others arrived.

The hound, hawk and Boyle came. Meara and Fin were there with Branna and Connor.

Boyle hit Cabhan and burned his hands while doing it but Boyle used to box.

Iona was worried about Boyle and about Alastair but the spell that was said didnt work.

Cabhan left with the fog and Branna is not sure what went wrong.

Need to read the epilogue then onto the next book of this series.

Chapter 20 Dark Witch

Ok, everyone is gathered at the cottage to discuss about the what is going to be done to Cabhan. 

Iona makes a valid point that everyone is fighting for love, friendship and family. Everyone agrees and they eat dinner.

Iona headed to work the next day and the wolf was inside! He charged at her but Iona was quick with a shield spell but felt it crack.

She took the shield down  as Cabhan charged again but he went through the doors to the light.

He turned into a man and told Iona he would spare life and everyone life if she would give him her magik. 

Iona didn't and would never and she had company show up too. The hound, hawk and horse knew what was going on plus fin and Meara showed up as well as Connor and Boyle.

After Boyle stayed with her for a bit then showed her a birthday gift that he got for her.

He got her a saddle and had it engraved with her name and Alastair names on it.

After Iona went to see Boyle and ask him to have her for a night. To feel the touch for a night before they go and fight.

Well she was satisfied and I can understand why she would want Boyle for a night. I would too if I was going to fight a dark evil the next day.

Chapter 18 Dark Witch

Branna had a list for Iona after her journey to Nan's. The lemon was in her pocket!!!

Anyways Iona had to find 4 things in order that Branna and Connor chose for her.

Iona finds them all plus a attick above Brannas room that she didn't know was there.

After they are dinner and then Iona cleaned the kitchen and made it sparkle so Branna would be happy about a clean kitchen.

Iona was going to take her items to be cleansed when someone knocked at the door.

She opened it and there is Boyle with flowers. Ahhhh

He came in and Iona put the flowers in a vase with water then outlined what she wanted from Boyle.

He still wants her and is madly in love with her but willing to respect her wishes.

He still feels bad that he thought she used magik on him when she didn't.

Boyle left and is going along with Iona's terms for now.

I hope they get back together because they are made for each other.

Chapter 17 Dark Witch

Finally! I have read a chapter!!!

Ok, Iona wakes up hungover but she had a lot of fun with Meara and Branna. They drank, danced and did sing.

Iona got up to get ready for work and took a potion Branna made which helped the hangover.

Iona gets to the stables and Boyle is shocked to see her because he expected her to not come in today.

Well he was wrong!

Iona said very little to him and it drove him mad. He didn't know whether to tell or not tell at her.

He wants to fix things but is letting Iona have space.

She did all her work and went home with Connor. They ate biscuits and drank some tea then worked on magik.

Iona wanted to try a new spell called Astral projection. So she relaxed and flew to Nans (gram) kitchen and Nan could see her and touch her.

They talked for a bit then had to leave because it's Iona's first time doing this and it's a long way back to Ireland.

Nan was happy to see all three of them and plans to travel to Ireland to see everyone.

Iona took a lemon and put it in her pocket. Will it make it back with her?

Chapter 16 Dark Witch

Iona is putting lipgloss on so she can talk to Boyle into a ride on Alastair and then dinner then his bed, oh boy!

Iona talks to Connor about love and if he has been in love and he can tell that Iona is in love.

Boyke sent people home early and is brushing Darling (mare) when Fin shows up. Boyke was thinking about paperwork and bills and Iona.

Boyke talks to Fin about what happened with him and Iona and her vision that she had at the friary.

Alastair is jealous when Boyle is talking which I find funny. Made me smile too.

Boyle also rants to fin about Iona but Fin says " it sounds like you are in love to me ".

Boyle is not used to these kind of feelings that he has for Iona and he's not sure what to do.

He even thinks that Iona has put a love spell on him.

Now Iona has more respect than that and would never use a love spell on anyone and Branna would not let her.

Iona hears everything and tells Boyle that she would leave him alone. He could tell she was hurting from what he said.

He wanted to fix it but Iona didn't and asked for a ride home from Fin.

Boyle said he would but Iona said no! And Fin brought her home in silence.

After dropping Iona off Fin thought it would be best to get Connor and all three could get drunk.

Iona walks in and Branna knew something was wrong and Iona told her. So Branna called Meara who brought pizza and wine and ice cream with her and they had a girls night.

Connor and Fin talked to Boyle and told him it would take time and that flowers may not work over here.

Boyle is not happy he hurt Iona but what's done is done.

While Branna and Meara and Iona were having talks with a roaring fire, Iona wanted music do Branna got her fiddle but noticed the fog around the house.

Cabhan was there but they decided to play music and be happy and say "f you" to Cabhan.

Chapter 15 Dark Witch

In this chapter Iona goes out to see what else there is besides her job, home and Ashford Castle.

Boyle takes her and won't let her drive(she wants to learn).

They visited a few places and she felt right at home. She went to Ballintubber Abbey.

Conchobair built it and is ancestor to Iona.

They also went to Ross Abbey which was a friary. Boyle thinks the Brits kicked out the monks and claimed it as there own.

Iona was exploring and then said she died here or it was her blood relatives that died here.

She knew Cabhan was waiting for this woman and trying to call her to him. He was greedy for her power(the relative) but the lady was dying.

Iona's eyes went black!

Scary but Iona keeps talking and knows that the lady has a granddaughter and knows that she has to pass on the power and amulet even though she doesn't want too.

Iona also spoke in Irish and Boyke could make out some but not all of it. Iona's eyes rolled back and she told Boyke she had to leave the place.

It was draining Iona but Boyle took a hold tight of her and carried her out. He has seen Connor have a vision before so Boyke knew what to expect.

They head back to see Branna and Connor to tell them of the vision.

The Irish that Iona spoke was of you're the one but there must be three and it ends here for me begins for you.

I'm wondering if the old lady said this to her granddaughter before she died to pass on the power and amulet.

Or it means that it will take Branna, Connor and Iona to go up against Cabhan.

Guess we will find out, next chapter

Chapter 14 Dark Witch

Ok, everyone gathers for dinner to talk about cabhans latest attack on Boyke and Iona.

We find out that Boyle and Iona were relaxed on the ride home and that might be why they were attacked.

We also find out that Fin bought Alastair because he had a visionif Iona on the horse and fire in her hands.

He did not know when she would show up though.

After eating Iona goes to Boyles place to spend the night because he is going to show her around on her day off.

After everyone leaves, Branna and Connor talk about "Litha" the summer solstice and how light smothers dark.

They also talk about "Ostra, the equinox" the balance of day to night .

They think it may be best to fight when there is light for a long time in solstice.

Well they have sex again but Iona dreams and brings Boyle into the dream with her.

Iona and Boyle are in the woods and the path is blocked and Boyke wants to move the branches out of the way.

Iona is scared and doesn't want to let go and who comes along......Cabhan as a wolf again.

Boyle is calm and tells Iona that they need fire and she conjured it up and Boyke punches the fog.

Boyles hand was hurt in the dream but when Iona woke up it was hurt unreal life too.

She took care of his to draw out position then heal which took a toll on her so she would shower while Boyke made breakfast.

But before making breakfast, he calls Fin to see what he makes of the dream.

Chapter 13 Dark Witch

Ok Boyle and Iona have sex in this chapter, it's heated and fast paced but they both enjoyed it.

Cabhan attacked Boyle and Iona in the woods and Iona called up a wind spell wich Boyle talks her down.

Branna heard from Iona by phone call about what happened and waited for 2 hours but could see why Iona was late.

They talked then Iona took Boyle upstairs to her room for the night.

Iona works then gets Meara to give her a ride and Branna is with a customer.

Fin shows up and wants to help with Iona's training and tells Branna she doesn't need to cook but she made sauce for pasta and it was cooking.

Fin called everyone and they will be together for dinner and hear Iona's story again.

Chapter 12 Dark Witch

Well here we are on chapter 12.

Iona is giving Sarah lessons and Sarah's mom is there watching. 

After the lesson Boyle sees Iona and takes Darking and Alastair out for a ride.

Iona knew the horses liked looking at each other and Iona told Boyle.

They went to the river and near the castle and then headed back to the stables.

On the way back the wolf appears aka Cabhan. There was no warning, no fog or nothing.

He just comes out with teeth baring and growling.

Iona conjured up a wind tunnel after setting fire. The wind tunnel was very powerful and she made it very strong too.

Boyle talked her down and the storm became calm after she took a tree apart and Cabhan was not happy to be in wind either.

Iona was pale and shaky after and she took a couple deep breaths like Boyle told her to do.

They went back to the stables and Boyle took her to his place which was closest and got her whiskey to calm her and him.

After he made her dinner and then his temper came out. 

Now it gets better because Iona states that she wants to sleep with Boyle and be next him every morning.

The chapter leaves off with Boyle and Iona kissing but I have a suspicion that they are going to have sex.

Chapter 11 Dark Witch

Well onto chapter 11. Branna, Connor, ik a, Boyle, Fin and Meara all decide they are one and will all fight for the good side.

They still have dinner and then Iona tells then of her attack from Cabhan when she walked home for work.

Someone will walk with Iona to and from work for now do she won't be attacked.

Boyle needed a tonic for mick because he has been sick and Iona goes to get it buts gets more than she hoped.

Boyle kisses her in the back room and asks her to dinner in his Boyle way.

Well the next morning Iona decided to make breakfast and took the trash out but finds dead rats at the back door.

Connor sees it then Branna. They burn the rats at take the ash to the front of the house.

Connor figs a home, Iona keeps them dry and Branna makes the ray ashes become flowers.

That is one Cabhan will not like but he will be defeated. 

Next chapter

Chapter 10 Dark Witch

Iona is practicing her magick in this chapter. Branna is teaching her how to control rain or I should say water.

Branna is dry whil Iona is soaked. Iona focuses and starts making the rain go away. After they are done they head inside to the workshop.

Meara was inside about to leave but Branna told her to stay. 

Branna and Meara chat about how Meara wanted to be blondes long time ago and how it looked bad on her. It was a week before she had Branna turn it back to her original color.

While they chatted Iona glamned up and she never has been good at it but this is magick.

Both Branna and Meara said she looked ready to go out to a pub and Branna did good work. 

They chat more and Connor shows up with Boyle and Fin. They all decide to make a soup and everyone is willing to help.

They all talk about magick and the curse that is hanging over Branna,Connor and Iona. It also hangs over Fin.

Fin comes from the same blood of Cabhan and has the pentagram which he shows to Iona.

They still make dinner and drink more wine and chat to enjoy the good times.

Chapter 9 Dark Witch

Iona gets to lead her first group on the trails by herself and she enjoyed it.

After trail riding Iona is told to go to the big stables on Alastair and they headed over.

Now Iona can talk to horses  through her mind and Alastair took to a gallop but did something else on the way too.

He flew.

Iona isn't sure how it happened but it did and she got him back down to the ground.

They arrive at the stable and Fin tells Iona to go overthrow jump coarse so he can see what she has. Iona used to be an instructor back in the states.

Fin tells her she will be teaching today and the lesson is 30mins.

Fin leaves and Boyle shows her all the horses and Darling( the mare he won in the bet)

Well everything is good until he tells her him being interested is a problem.

I give Iona credit for being calm while trying to figure out Boyle but then he does it again, he kisses her!

Well she kissed him 2 more times! Then Kevin (stable hand) saw the whole thing and just smiled .

Iona gave her lesson and heads home after.  While walking she is on cloud 9 but then she notices she went in a different direction.

Well she didn't and knew Cabhan was making it a different direction for her. She tried to fight the wolf but her fireballs didn't work.

The hawk came down and ripped some of the wolf (Cabhan) apart and let Branna andvonnor know what is going on by mind if course.

They come to Iona and magick is more powerful when you have three. They putt all there energy into one to make light and got Cabhan to retreat. 

All three go back to the house and Iona tells them what happened and Branna decides that Iona needs someone to walk with her when she goes to work and coming home.

Chapter 8 Dark Witch

Boyle gets into a fight but didn't throw the first punch. Long ago he made a bet and won a mare. The guy that lost is still angry about it and wants more money.

So they get into a fight and Boyle goes back to work with swollen knuckles. 

Iona is looking at his hands and he realize it and tells her " in or out" so she goes and tends to his knuckles.

Boyle used to fight back in college to earn his tuition and he won every fight so for him it was nothing to get in a fight now but he always let the other guy throw the first punch.

Fin stops by and notices how Boyle has fallen for Iona even though she is Connirs cousin.

Boyle, Connor and Fin have been mates for a long time.

Now Iona is spending her last minutes at the hotel. She is moving in with her cousins today and gets quite a shock.

Boyle picks her up and she shows him her feather levitation when he thought she broke a pillow.

Well she read his signals wrong and long story short, he pulled her in and kissed her! 

Then he just took her suitcases to the truck and she followed. No words exchanged! 

How can that be when you kiss someone?!?!

Anyways they get to Brannas and Iona starts to settle in but Branna knows something is up.

So they get coffee and Iona tells Branna what happens.

Chapter 6 & 7 Dark Witch

So I read two chapters in a row. This book is getting good!

So chapter 6

Iona got her job and started home or I should say to Brannas but she stopped at the vibes and braches that tangled together in the woods.

She lingered even though she was told not to by Branna and Connor but she did.

Iona was about to go through when kathel barked at her which brought her back to reality.

Iona went to see Branna and told her about it. Branna was happy she didn't go through but wasn't that happy about it because Cabhan was testing her.

Anyways Branna started teaching her some magik and Iona could do a flame in the palm of her hand and made water lift out of a bowl.

After Connor said he would buy dinner and Iona could buy the pint. So all three headed to the village.

Chapter 7

Iona met a lot if people at the pub who all said hi to Connor because they knew him.

Connor and Iona found Boyle and Meara sitting already so they grabbed the table next to them and chatted.

Things were good and all of them in good spirits.

After awhile Branna knew that fin was back and he sure was because he came into the bar.

He said hello to everyone and introduced homsekf to Iona.

Branna doesn't like Fin because Fin is of the same blood as Cabhan and he has the mark that Cabhan does when tegan put it on him.

Anywho, Branna left and Meara followed but made sure Iona had a ride home.

She got a ride back to Ashford castle with Boyle! She has such a crush on him!!!

So while driving fog rolls up and if course it's Cabhan and Iona can hear her name being called but Boyle can't hear anything. 

He's just trying to navigate while driving even though he knows the road very well.

The fog lifted and he walks Iona into Ashford and says hello to the desk clerk.

Boyle took the key and Iona (by hand) to her room and noticed that it was in the older part of the castle.

He unlocks the door and walks in after Iona to the desk and writes down his number for her in case anything happens.

He tells her to call Branna first and then him since he is closer. Anyways Boyle leaves and yells at her through the door to lock it. She did.

Iona was upset that she thought when Boyle walked in the room that he wanted something else but he didn't. She did get butterfly's though.

Iona told Meara about her sex dream and that she thought Meara and Boyle were a. "Thing" but they aren't.

Meara wanted to hear every detail of this dream and so do I but a fight was starting outside.

Boyle didn't get hurt but did a lot if damage to the other guy.

Good chapters and now onto the next one.

Chapter 5 Dark Witch

Iona met with Boyle and got the job. She was excellent with all the horses and Meara showed her around the stables.

Boyle came back with a stallion who need to be tamed.

Of course Iona is good with horses and can communicate with them too.

Doesn't help that Boyle is ruggedly handsome too, poor Iona has fallen for him.

Chapter 3 Dark Witch

We now meet Iona and don't get much of who she is but only find her in Ireland already looking to go find the dark witch.

She is staying in a castle and decided to explore in the woods. She gets list then finds her way to the house of the dark witch.

This is where we meet Branna who is a cousin to Iona. 

Iona does a lot of rambling because she is nervous and drenched from the rain, falling in the woods plus net a dog.

The amulet of the horse was passed into Iona and not her mother. Her mother is not open minded like Iona and didn't like Nan to teach magic.

After tea and whiskey Branna tells Iona to spend a week at the castle then stay at the cottage with Branna and Connor.

Iona has a big decision to make because Cabhan is stil out there and wants what the cousins have and wants there blood.
